Home of the seven dwarfs

As children we have all heard of the dwarfs that helped Snow White.

In my town people say they are real, and that they live in these woods.

 I thought they were all just old crazy town folk.

While I am just a boy living in this village I am old enough to know it is just a fable.

One day when my chores were done I went for a walk through the forest, I came across a path I have never seen before.

So I followed it, I thought I knew these woods so well, but soon was lost.

Then I found it, their world, I paused in wonder. In awe of this beautiful place.

So peaceful, and in harmony with nature.

Then I realized I am an intruder here, an unwelcome guest.

As much as I wanted to enter I decided against it. To remain an observer a few moments longer.

And then leave, never to return again. Never tell a soul about this place.

To forever keep their secret so they can continue to live in peace.
